This evening will be mostly cloudy, windy, and very cold with snow ending later this evening. Temperatures will remain near 10 degrees. Overnight, skies will become partly cloudy, it will be windy, and turn bitterly cold as a cold front sweeps across the area. Low temperatures will fall to the upper single digits below zero by morning, with wind chills from -20 to -35.
Friday will be partly sunny, breezy, and bitterly cold. High temperatures will climb to just above zero, while wind chills remain from -5 to -20 all day. Friday night will be mostly clear and continued bitterly cold. Low temperatures will fall to the teens below zero with wind chills from -15 to -25 by early Saturday.
We should begin to come out of the deep freeze over the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and still very cold with high temperatures near 10 and wind chills just below zero. As skies become mostly cloudy on Saturday night, temperatures will stay abov! e zero, and even rise a little overnight. Sunday will be variably cloudy and not as cold with high temperatures in the lower 20s.
Monday will be a little colder again. Skies will be variably cloudy and there is a chance for flurries in the morning with high temperatures reaching the upper teens. Tuesday will be partly sunny and continued cold with highs temperatures in the lower 20s.
A gradual warming trend will take place from Wednesday through Friday with partly sunny skies expected each day. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s on Wednesday, near 30 degrees on Thursday, and the middle 30s on Friday.
