Sunshine returns to the area today! Temperatures will start in the lower teens and only climb to highs in the lower to middle 20s. However, skies will be partly sunny and winds will be light. Tonight will be partly cloudy and not as cold with low temperatures in the middle to upper teens.
Saturday will be partly sunny and not as cold with high temperatures climbing into the lower 30s. A large storm system will track just south of Wisconsin late Saturday through Sunday. Skies will become mostly cloudy Saturday night with light snow developing. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and colder with light snow showers. Accumulations of 1-3" possible by Sunday.
By Monday, very cold weather will return to Wisconsin. Skies will be partly sunny, but it will be quite cold. Wind chills may be as cold as -5 to -15 early Monday morning with low temperatures starting around zero. High temperatures will only make it to the middle teens.
One round of snow will develop from Monday night into early Tuesday. Another round of snow will be possible from late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s on Tuesday. Wednesday will be much colder with highs in the lower teens in the morning, with temperatures falling into the single digits in the afternoon.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, but bitterly cold with lows in the single digits below zero and highs near 10. Wind chills will be as cold as -15 to -25 Thursday morning.
