Skies will gradually clear a bit this afternoon as highs reach the lower 20s. Skies will be variably cloudy tonight with lows staying a bit milder in the lower teens.
A gradual moderation in temperatures will continue from Thursday through Saturday with partly sunny skies each day. High temperatures will reach the upper 20s on Thursday, the lower 30s on Friday, and in the middle to upper 30s with breezy conditions on Saturday. A cold front will move through late in the day on Saturday, which could generate a few flurries Saturday night and will drop high temperatures back into the middle 20s on Sunday, which is near average for mid-January. Skies will be variably cloudy on Sunday.
Monday will be partly sunny and still seasonably cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s. A fast-moving system will arrive from later Monday night into Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies and light snow with some accumulation possible. Highs will remain in the u! pper 20s. Wednesday will remain mostly cloudy with a chance of a few flurries and highs in the mid to upper 20s. Thursday will be partly sunny, but colder with highs back near 20.
