It will be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild this afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 30s.
Tonight, a storm system will develop to the east of Wisconsin. Skies will be cloudy, and it will remain mild. As temperatures fall just below freezing, there is a chance that light snow, sleet, and freezing rain will develop. The mixed precipitation will change to flurries on Thursday before ending as a cold front sweeps through Wisconsin in the morning. High temperatures on Thursday will reach the middle 30s in the morning, but will fall in the afternoon as the colder air arrives. Friday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the lower to middle 20s.
Saturday will start out partly sunny with seasonable temperatures climbing into the upper 20s, but skies will become mostly cloudy in the afternoon as a storm system heads toward Wisconsin. Light snow may develop as early as Saturday evening and will continue through the ! night and into Sunday. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with light snow and flurries ending by evening. Some accumulation is likely. Highs on Sunday will reach the lower 20s in the morning, but will hold steady or fall into the teens in the afternoon.
By Monday, very cold weather should return to Wisconsin. Skies will be partly sunny, but it will remain breezy and very cold. Wind chills may be as cold as -15 early Monday morning with low temperatures starting out near zero. High temperatures will struggle to rise near 10 degrees.
Another storm system will bring mostly cloudy skies on Tuesday. There is a chance for light snow as high temperatures remain very cold, only climbing to the middle teens. Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs reaching the lower 20s, but colder air moves in again Thursday, with highs dropping back into the lower teens.
