Tonight will start out mostly cloudy with any flurries ending as temperatures remain nearly steady near 20 degrees this evening. Overnight, a cold front will sweep through southern Wisconsin. Skies will become partly cloudy, and it will turn windy and very cold with low temperatures falling to the middle single digits by morning, with wind chills falling to -10 to 20.

Saturday will be partly sunny, windy, and bitterly cold. High temperatures will only reach the middle single digits, then temperatures should hold nearly steady through the day. Wind chills will be from -5 to -20 during the daylight hours. With mostly clear skies, low temperatures will be bitterly cold Saturday night, falling to near -10 by early Sunday morning; wind chills will be as cold as -15 to -30 through the night. Skies on Sunday will be partly sunny and it will remain bitterly cold; high temperatures will be near 10 degrees.

Skies will turn mostly cloudy for Sunday night ! and Monday with scattered flurries developing. Low temperatures for Sunday night will be in the single digits above zero, and high temperatures for Monday will be in the upper teens.

A reinforcing shot of bitter cold arrives by Tuesday afternoon. Flurries will end and skies will become partly sunny, but it will become breezy and very cold. Temperatures will reach the lower teens in the morning before holding steady or slowly falling in the afternoon. Temperatures on Tuesday night will drop near -10 with wind chills as cold as -15 to -25 under partly cloudy skies.  Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy and bitterly cold with high temperatures in the mid single digits. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and bitter cold again with low temperatures near -10 and wind chills from -15 to -25.

Thursday will be partly sunny, breezy and still bitterly cold with high temperatures near 10 degrees. After another very cold night for Thursday night with low temperatures ne! ar zero, skies will become mostly cloudy on Friday with another chance of flurries developing. It will be breezy and not as cold with high temperatures in the lower 20s.

A chance of light snow will then develop from Friday night into Saturday beofre diminishing to flurries Saturday afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s on Saturday. Very cold air will return on Sunday behind a cold front, with partly sunny skies, breezy conditions and high temperatures dropping back into the lower teens.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 6 PM Saturday evening until 10 AM Sunday morning for southwestern, south-central, and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of RICHLAND, SAUK, COLUMBIA, DODGE, CRAWFORD, IOWA, DANE, JEFFERSON, GRANT, LAFAYETTE, GREEN, ROCK, and WALWORTH (this includes the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan areas).
