For tonight, skies will become mostly clear, and it will continue to be bitterly cold. Overnight low temperatures will fall to near -10 by early Sunday morning. Even as winds slowly diminish through the night, wind chills will be as cold as -20 to -30. Skies on Sunday will be partly sunny and it will remain bitterly cold; high temperatures will be near 10 degrees with wind chills remaining below zero through the day.

Skies will turn mostly cloudy for Sunday night and Monday with scattered flurries developing. Low temperatures for Sunday night will be in the single digits above zero, and high temperatures for Monday will be in the upper teens.

A reinforcing shot of bitter cold arrives by Tuesday afternoon. Flurries will end and skies will become partly sunny, but it will become breezy and very cold. Temperatures will reach the lower teens in the morning before holding steady or slowly falling in the afternoon. Temperatures on Tuesday night will ! drop near -10 with wind chills as cold as -35 under partly cloudy skies.  Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy and bitterly cold with high temperatures slightly above zero and wind chills as cold as -25. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and bitterly cold again with low temperatures near -15 and wind chills from -20 to -35.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and still bitterly cold with high temperatures in the mid single digits. Temperatures will fall below zero again early Thursday night, but should then slowly rise as the next chance of light snow develops. There will be a chance of light snow for Friday, but highs won't be as cold as they rise near 20.

It will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of flurries, breezy, and not as cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s on Saturday. Very cold air will return on Sunday behind a cold front, with partly sunny skies, breezy conditions and high temperatures dropping back into the mid teens.

In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of MONROE, JUNEAU, ADAMS, MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, and VERNON (this includes the La Crosse metropolitan area).

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 6 PM Saturday evening until 10 AM Sunday morning for southwestern, south-central, and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of RICHLAND, SAUK, COLUMBIA, DODGE, CRAWFORD, IOWA, DANE, JEFFERSON, GRANT, LAFAYETTE, GREEN, ROCK, and WALWORTH (this includes the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan areas). 

WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 8 PM until 9 AM Sunday morning for north-central and northeastern Illinois, including the counties of WINNEBAGO, BOONE, and McHENRY (this includes the ! Rockford and Chicago metropolitan areas).

WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 9 PM until 9 AM Sunday morning for eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. In Iowa, this includes the counties of DELAWARE and DUBUQUE. In Illinois, this includes the counties of.JO DAVIESS and STEPHENSON.
