Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight, and it will turn bitterly cold. A few scattered flurries are possible. Temperatures will fall to the upper single digits by late evening, with wind chills from 0 to -10; overnight low temperatures will fall to the single digits below zero with wind chills from -10 to -20 by morning.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and bitterly cold with temperatures climbing only to the middle single digits above zero; wind chills will remain from -5 to -20 during the day. Skies on Wednesday night will become mostly clear and it will remain bitterly cold with low temperatures falling to around -12. Wind chills will plummet to between -20 to -30 by early Thursday morning. Thursday will be mostly sunny and continued bitterly cold with high temperatures in the lower single digits. Wind chills will be as cold as -5 to -20 during the day. Temperatures will fall to near 10 below zero Thursday night with wind chills from -10 t! o -20.

Skies will become mostly cloudy Friday with snow showers and flurries developing, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the lower teens. Some minor snow accumulations are possible through Friday night. Slightly milder air will move in Friday night with temperatures falling to around 10 before holding steady or rising overnight. 

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and not quite as cold with flurries ending. Saturday will be one of the warmest days of the week with high temperatures reaching the lower 20s. A chance for snow will develop later Saturday afternoon into Saturday night as a low pressure system passes south of Wisconsin. By Sunday, arctic air will flood back into the area. It will become partly sunny and windy with high temperatures reaching the lower teens Sunday morning, before temperatures fall into the single digits in the afternoon. Wind chills will dip below zero Sunday afternoon. Skies will become mostly clear on Monday ni! ght as bitterly cold air returns; low temperatures will fall to around -5, with wind chills falling to -10 to -20 by morning.

Monday will be partly sunny and very cold with high temperatures reaching the middle teens. It will become windy later Monday into Monday night with mostly cloudy skies and a chance for flurries as temperatures rise through the teens on Monday night. Temperatures will reach the lower 20s early Tuesday before temperatures fall into the teens in the afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy with flurries ending.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 3 AM until 10 AM for part of south-central Wisconsin, including the counties of SAUK, IOWA, and LAFAYETTE.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY has been issued from 3 AM Wednesday morning until noon Wednesday for eastern Iowa, extreme northwestern Illinois, and southwestern Wisconsin. In Iowa, this includes the counties of DELAWARE and DUBUQUE. In Illinois, this includes the county of JO! DAVIESS. In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of RICHLAND, CRAWFORD, and GRANT.
