High pressure over the Midwest will lead to clear skies, light winds, and bitterly cold temperatures tonight. Temperatures will fall to -10 to -15 by early Monday morning, with wind chills as cold as -20 to -30. Monday will be mostly sunny and continued very cold with high temperatures near 10 degrees. It will become windy late in the day Monday, with the brisk winds continuing into Tuesday. Temperatures will continue to slowly rise Monday night into Tuesday when high temperatures approach 30 degrees. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and not as cold with a chance for light snow or flurries. Skies will clear and it will become bitterly cold again on Tuesday night, with low temperatures falling near zero with wind chills as cold as -5 to -20 by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and very cold again with high temperatures in the lower teens, while wind chills stay near zero. Thursday will be partly sunny and bitterly cold with low temperatur! es in the middle single digits below zero, and wind chills as cold as -10 to -20. High temperatures will only climb to near 10 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny and very cold with low temperatures just below zero and high temperatures in the middle to upper teens.
Next weekend will bring a chance for accumulating snow. Snow will develop later Saturday afternoon or night, and will continue through Sunday. Several inches will be possible. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s Saturday, and will be near 30 on Sunday.
