Clouds will linger across southern Wisconsin tonight as a wave of low pressure continues to move to the east. Temperatures will be colder, falling into the lower teens by early Monday morning.
Monday will be partly sunny and cold with high temperatures only reaching the lower to middle 20s. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Tuesday with a chance for light snow or freezing drizzle developing in the afternoon and at night. The best chance for some light snow accumulations will be in areas north of Madison. High temperatures will reach the upper 20s Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with flurries ending. It will become windy and colder Wednesday with highs near 30 in the morning, followed by temperatures falling in the afternoon.
As skies turn partly cloudy on Wednesday night, temperatures will fall into the lower single digits. Wind chills will be as cold as -5 to -20 by early Thursday morning. Thursday will be partly sunn! y, windy, and much colder with high temperatures only reaching the middle teens. Thursday night will turn bitterly cold, with low temperatures falling slightly below zero. Even with lighter winds, wind chills may be as cold as -5 to -20 by early Friday morning.
Friday will become mostly cloudy with a chance for flurries developing, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper teens. There will be a chance for light snow or flurries from Saturday night into Sunday morning. Weekend highs will only reach the middle to upper teens.
