Windy and very cold conditions this morning with temperatures starting out near zero, but wind chills ranging from -10 to -20. Skies will be mostly sunny with high temperatures only reaching the lower teens. Winds will gradually decrease this afternoon. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight, with a chance for flurries late. Low temperatures will fall into the lower single digits. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for flurries. It won't be quite as cold with highs near 20.
Another shot of very cold weather will arrive early in the weekend. A cold front will sweep through southern Wisconsin Saturday morning with partly sunny skies, windy conditions, and bitterly cold temperatures. Highs will only reach the middle single digits in the morning, before temperatures fall Saturday afternoon. Wind chills will be as cold as -10 to -25 in the morning, and -5 to -20 in the afternoon. Temperatures will be bitterly cold Saturday night, falling near -! 10 by early Sunday morning. Wind chills will be as cold as -15 to -25 through the night. Skies on Sunday will be partly sunny and it will remain very cold; high temperatures will be in the lower teens. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Sunday night with a slight chance for flurries developing.
Partly sunny skies on Monday morning will become mostly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance for light snow late in the day or at night as a storm system passes to our south. High temperatures will be in the lower 20s.
The cold returns in full force on Tuesday. Light snow will end, and skies will become partly sunny in the afternoon, but it will become windy and turn colder as high temperatures reach the middle to upper teens before falling into the single digits in the afternoon. Skies will become mostly clear on Tuesday night, and it will become bitterly cold with low temperatures falling to the middle single digits below zero; wind chills will fall to -15 to -25 ! by Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and ver y cold with high temperatures in the lower teens.
