High temperatures will climb to the middle teens, with wind chills remaining near zero during the day. It will be mostly cloudy and very cold tonight with light snow and flurries; minor accumulations of 1-2" are possible, mainly southwest of Madison. Low temperatures will drop to near zero with wind chills from -10 to -20.
Thursday will be variably cloudy and very cold with scattered flurries. High temperatures will only climb to near 10 degrees, with wind chills from 0 to -10 during the day. Thursday night will become mostly clear and bitterly cold. Low temperatures will fall to between 5 and 10 below zero with wind chills from -10 to -20. Friday will be mostly sunny and very cold. High temperatures will reach the middle to upper teens.
Temperatures should moderate somewhat this weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny and not quite as col! d with high temperatures in the lower 20s. Low pressure will develop in the southern Plains on Saturday and move toward the Midwest, bringing light snow or flurries to southern Wisconsin from later Saturday night through Sunday. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the upper 20s.
Monday will be partly sunny with highs near 30 degrees. Another chance for light snow will develop Monday night through Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will reach the upper 20s.
