Skies will be variably cloudy this afternoon with temperatures slowly falling from highs in the lower teens. Wind chills will be in the single digits below zero. A cold front will move through Wisconsin tonight with a chance of scattered flurries. Any accumulations will be light, less than 1/2". Low temperatures tonight will drop into the single digits below zero with wind chills as cold as -10 to -20. Wednesday will be partly sunny, but it will be breezy and bitterly cold. High temperatures will only reach the lower single digits above zero while wind chills remain as cold as -20 during the day. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and bitterly cold again with low temperatures falling to around -12 and wind chills plummeting to between -20 to -30.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and continued bitterly cold with high temperatures in the lower single digits. Temperatures will fall to near 10 below zero Thursday night before temperatures start to clim! b again toward Friday morning. Even with light winds, wind chills will drop to between -10 to -20. Mostly cloudy skies and snow showers and flurries will develop on Friday as slightly milder air moves in. Temperatures won`t be quite as cold, rising into the mid teens, although breezy southerly winds will keep wind chills near zero during the day.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and not quite as cold with a chance of light snow, mainly early in the day as a system passes to our south. Highs will reach the lower 20s. By Sunday, Arctic air floods back into the area. It will be partly sunny and breezy with highs only in the mid teens.
Monday will be partly sunny, windy and cold with a chance of light snow developing late in the day or overnight and highs in the upper teens. That chance of light snow continues into early Tuesday, but after it passes, another round of cold air moves in. After an early high in the lower 20s, temperatures will fall in the after! noon. Wednesday will be partly sunny, but very cold with highs droppin g back into the lower teens.
