This afternoon will be partly sunny, breezy, and bitterly cold with temperatures hovering near zero; wind chills will remain from -10 to -20 during the day. Skies tonight will become mostly clear and it will remain bitterly cold with low temperatures falling to around -12. Wind chills will plummet to between -20 to -30 by early Thursday morning. Thursday will be mostly sunny and continued bitterly cold with high temperatures in the lower single digits. Wind chills will be as cold as -5 to -20 during the day. Temperatures will fall to near -10 again on Thursday night with wind chills from -15 to -25 and temperatures holding steady or slowly rising toward morning.
Skies will become mostly cloudy Friday with light snow and flurries. High temperatures will reach the middle teens. Some minor snow accumulations are possible through Friday night. Milder air will move in Friday night with temperatures holding in the mid teens or slowly rising overnight.

Saturday will be variably cloudy and not quite as cold with any flurries ending early. Saturday will be one of the warmest days of the week with high temperatures reaching the middle 20s. A slight chance of snow will develop later Saturday afternoon into Saturday night as a low pressure system passes south of Wisconsin. By Sunday, arctic air will flood back into the area. It will become partly sunny and windy with high temperatures reaching the mid teens Sunday morning, before temperatures slowly fall in the afternoon. Wind chills will dip below zero Sunday afternoon. Skies will become mostly clear on Sunday night as bitterly cold air returns; low temperatures will fall to around -5, with wind chills falling to -10 to -20 by morning.
Monday will be partly sunny, breezy and very cold with high temperatures reaching the middle teens. Temperatures will only drop near 10 Monday night and Tuesday will reach an early high near 20, but another wave will move through,! generating a chance of flurries and ushering in very cold air once ag ain, leading temperatures to fall in the afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday will be very cold again with lows below zero and wind chills as cold as -20 at times. Highs will be in the lower teens.
