This afternoon will be mostly sunny and very cold. It will also become breezy by late afternoon. High temperatures will eventually top out around 10 degrees, with wind chills from 0 to -10.
Skies will become increasingly cloudy tonight ahead of an approaching storm system that will pass to our north. Temperatures won't be nearly as cold, but it will be windy. Temperatures will only fall a couple of degrees to the upper single digits before holding nearly steady or slowly rising overnight through the teens.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and windy. It won't be as cold with a chance for flurries. High temperatures will reach the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.
A cold front will sweep through Wisconsin on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday night, skies will become partly cloudy and it will become very cold again. Low temperatures will fall to the middle single digits above zero, with wind chills as cold as -5 to -20 by Wednesday morning. S! kies will be partly sunny on Wednesday, and it will be very cold again with high temperatures in the middle teens, while wind chills stay near zero. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and bitterly cold with near record low temperatures falling to the middle single digits below zero, while wind chills fall to -10 to -20 by morning.
Thursday will be partly sunny and bitter cold. High temperatures will only climb to near 10 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny and very cold with low temperatures falling to the middle single digits below zero, while high temperatures climb to the middle to upper teens.
Next weekend won't be as cold, but there will be some snow on Sunday. Saturday will be partly sunny and not quite as cold with high temperatures in the middle 20s. As low pressure develops in the southern Plains on Saturday and moves toward the Midwest, skies will become mostly cloudy and snow will develop later Saturday night, and will continue into Sunday. So! me snow accumulation will be possible. High temperatures will be near 30 degrees on Sunday.
On Monday, the storm will move to the east, allowing the snow to taper to flurries and end. It will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and a little colder on Monday with high temperatures in the middle 20s.
