Skies will become cloudy and snow will move in this afternoon. This very fast moving clipper will drop 1-3" of snow across the area before tapering to flurries this evening. Highs will be in the upper teens. Skies will remain mostly cloudy overnight with lows dropping into the upper single digits. Wednesday will be variably cloudy, breezy and becoming colder with a chance of flurries and high temperatures reaching the upper teens in the morning, before temperatures slowly fall in the afternoon.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, but very cold with low temperatures in the single digits below zero and high temperatures in the middle teens. Wind chills will be as cold as -10 to -20 Thursday morning. Friday will be variably cloudy and milder with highs near 30, but another chance of freezing drizzle or flurries will develop late in the day.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and mild with a chance of rain and snow showers late in the day. High t! emperatures will reach the lower to middle 30s. As temperatures cool below freezing on Saturday night, the mixed precipitation will change over to snow with some accumulation likely. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and turn colder with light snow and flurries, mainly early in the day. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s in the morning before holding steady or falling in the afternoon.
Monday will be variably cloudy with seasonable high temperatures in the upper 20s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs near 30 and light snow developing late in the day. Any snow will end early Wednesday as highs drop back into the mid 20s.
