Skies will be mostly clear tonight, and it will remain mild. Fog will develop overnight. A weak cold front will move through the area resulting in a wind switch, but not much of a change in temperatures. Temperatures will fall to the upper 30s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 30s by morning.
On Wednesday, morning fog will give way to mostly sunny skies, and another mild day. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Patchy fog may develop again later Wednesday night.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and very mild with high temperatures in upper 50s. On Friday, skies will be partly sunny. A storm system will pass to our south, far enough away to keep the threat for rain into Illinois. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy and not quite as mild with high temperatures falling back to the lower 50s. Partly sunny skies will return on Sunday with high temperatures! rebounding back into the upper 50s.
Monday may be our mildest day so far this year, as it will be windy ahead of a more powerful cold front that may generate some showers late on Monday or overnight. Skies will become increasingly cloudy as high temperatures climb into the upper 60s. Behind the cold front skies will become partly sunny on Tuesday, and it will be breezy and colder with high temperatures in the upper 40s.
