A cold front will slide southward through Wisconsin tonight, ushering much cooler air into the region. There is a slight chance for a shower as the front moves to the south, mainly for areas well north of Madison. It will become windy tonight with temperatures falling into the lower 30s by early Tuesday morning.
Behind the front, Tuesday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and much cooler with high temperatures in the middle 40s. Pleasant weather will stick around for the rest of the work week and into the weekend. Skies will be partly sunny, with high temperatures in the middle 40s to near 50 degrees through Saturday. It will turn colder on Sunday with high temperatures falling to around 40 degrees. There may be some very light precipitation in the form of a few flurries Wednesday night. Thursday night will bring a slight chance for sprinkles or flurries.
Monday of next week will be partly sunny and not quite as cold with high temperatures returnin! g to the middle 40s.
