Low pressure moving out of Nebraska will slide to the south of Wisconsin tonight and early Monday, bringing snow and mixed precipitation to southern Wisconsin. 1-5" of snow will accumulate, with the highest  accumulations southwest of a line from Janesville to Madison to Wisconsin Dells. Some sleet may mix with the snow this evening, and some freezing drizzle may mix with the snow early Monday morning. Temperatures will fall into the middle 20s by early Monday morning. 

As the system passes to the east on Monday morning, snow showers and freezing drizzle will end. Skies will be mostly cloudy for much of Monday, with some clearing possible late in the afternoon. High temperatures will only reach the upper 30s.

Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Tuesday as a warm front moves closer to Wisconsin. It will become windy and a little milder with high temperatures climbing to the middle 40s. Rain showers will develop later Tuesday afternoon ! or Tuesday evening. Rain will come to an end Wednesday morning, and it will be windy and turning colder. Highs will reach the upper 40s Wednesday, before holding steady or falling in the afternoon.

After the system passes, colder air will settle across the region. Thursday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with flurries or sprinkles. High temperatures will be near 40. Friday will be partly sunny and chilly with high temperatures in the upper 30s.

The weekend will be a little milder again. Saturday will be partly sunny and breezy with a chance for rain showers at night. Highs will be in the middle 40s. Sunday will be windy with a chance for light rain or flurries. Highs will reach the upper 40s Sunday morning before temperatures fall Sunday afternoon.
