Areas of dense fog have developed overnight, mainly south of Madison. The fog should dissipate quickly this morning and the remainder of the day will be mostly sunny and mild. Highs will reach the lower to middle 50s this afternoon.
Patchy fog may develop again later tonight. Skies will remain mostly clear and low temperatures will fall to the upper 20s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and very mild with high temperatures in upper 50s. On Friday, skies will be partly sunny. A storm system will pass to our south, far enough away to keep the threat for rain into Illinois. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy and not quite as mild with high temperatures falling back to the lower 50s. Partly sunny skies will return on Sunday with high temperatures rebounding back into the upper 50s.
Monday may be our mildest day so far this year, as it will be windy ahead of a more powerful cold fr! ont that may generate some showers late on Monday or overnight. Skies will become increasingly cloudy as high temperatures climb into the upper 60s. Behind the cold front skies will become partly sunny on Tuesday, and it will be breezy and colder with high temperatures in the upper 40s.
