Low pressure moving out of Nebraska will slide to the south of Wisconsin early this morning, bringing snow to southern Wisconsin. Up to eight inches of snow will accumulate across far southern Wisconsin. Totals will range from less than two inches northeast of Dane county, to two to four inches in Dane county, to three to eight inches south and west of Dane county. 

As the system passes to the east today, snow showers will end. Skies will be mostly cloudy for much of today, with some clearing possible late in the afternoon. High temperatures will only reach the middle 30s.

Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Tuesday as a warm front moves closer to Wisconsin. It will become windy and a little milder with high temperatures climbing to the middle 40s. Rain showers will develop later Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening. Rain will come to an end Wednesday morning, and it will be windy and turning colder. Highs will reach the upper 40s Wed! nesday, before holding steady or falling in the afternoon.

After the system passes, colder air will settle across the region. Thursday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with flurries or sprinkles. High temperatures will be near 40. Friday will be partly sunny and chilly with high temperatures in the middle 30s.

The weekend will be a little milder again. Saturday will be partly sunny and breezy with a chance for rain showers at night. Highs will be in the middle 40s. Sunday will be windy with a chance for light rain or flurries. Highs will reach the upper 40s Sunday morning before temperatures fall Sunday afternoon.
