This afternoon will mark the end of the very cold air for quite a while. It will be mostly sunny, but highs will only make it to the upper teens, which is over 20 degrees below normal for early March. Temperatures will fall into the lower single digits early tonight, but as southwest winds start to pick up, temperatures will rise toward morning.
Temperatures will moderate on Friday, with partly cloudy skies and breezy southwesterly winds pushing high temperatures into the lower 30s.
Skies will become mostly cloudy on Saturday with high temperatures reaching the middle to upper 30s. There is a chance of flurries during the day. Skies will remain mostly cloudy on Sunday with another chance for flurries. High temperatures will again reach the middle 30s.
Even milder weather is expected for next week. Monday will be partly sunny and milder with high temperatures near 40 degrees. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy and even milder! with high temperatures near 50. Wednesday through Friday will also be partly sunny and quite mild with highs in the lower 50s. There is a chance of rain developing late on Friday.
