Low pressure is building in from the south tonight, bringing moisture from the Gulf of Mexico to part of the Great Lakes region. A cold front will follow the low pressure system from the west with additional shower chances. Those two system will combine to bring showers and isolated thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin tonight. Temperatures will fall into the middle 40s by early Monday morning. Numerous showers will continue Monday morning, but rain will become more scattered in the afternoon. It will be a windy and much cooler day with highs only reaching the lower 50s.
A wave of low pressure will rotate through Wisconsin Tuesday with a chance for showers, mainly in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain cool, topping out in the lower 50s. Wednesday looks mainly dry with more clouds than sunshine and continued cool temperatures in the upper 40s.
Thursday through Sunday look mainly quiet with partly sunny skies and slowly warming temperatures. Highs will be near 50 Thursday, in the middle 50s Friday and Saturday, and in the upper 50s Sunday.
