A weak weather system will pass to the south of Wisconsin today, perhaps close enough to allow a couple of showers to move into the far southern portion of the state. It will be variably cloudy and cooler with that slight chance of showers and highs near 50. It will be partly cloudy and cooler tonight with lows dropping into the mid 20s.
Temperatures will be seasonably mild for Easter weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures reaching the middle 50s. A nearly stationary front will develop across the region on Saturday night, bringing a chance for rain showers, possibly mixing with sleet or snow north of Madison. Easter Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain showers, mainly north of Madison. High temperatures will again reach the middle 50s.
Monday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with high temperatures in the lower 50s. A stronger storm system will arrive from late Monday and last into early Thursday. Scattered showers will develop late in the day with isolated thunderstorms developing at night. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue into Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions with high temperatures in the middle 50s. Some clearing is possible late in the day.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy, breezy and mild with a chance of showers and thunderstorms early, then redeveloping later in the day. Highs will be in the upper 50s. Showers and thunderstorms continue on Thursday along with mild temperatures near 60. Skies will become partly sunny on Friday and it will be breezy and cooler with highs in the mid 50s. Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs near 60.
