This afternoon will be mostly cloudy, windy, and much cooler with a chance for showers as a low pressure system moves to our north, and colder air sweeps across the state. Temperatures will hold nearly steady in the 40s.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and colder as a cold front moves through Wisconsin. There will still be a slight chance for a rain shower. Temperatures will fall to the middle 40s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 30s by morning.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy, windy, and chilly as the low pressure system intensifies to our northeast. There is a slight chance for rain showers, especially in the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 50 degrees. As skies turn partly cloudy on Tuesday night, low temperatures will fall to near freezing by early Wednesday morning.
Dry weather will return for Wednesday, and should last through the weekend into early next week. Chilly temperatures on Wednesday should moderate to near-normal by Monday of next week. Skies will be partly sunny through the period. High temperatures will be near 50 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday, in the middle 50s on Friday and Saturday, and in the upper 50s for Sunday and Monday of next week. Low temperatures will mainly be between 30 and 35 degrees.
