As a low pressure system heads through the Upper Midwest, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible. The severe weather threat has been lowered, thanks to the clouds that were with us for much of the day. Even though the severe threat looks lower, an isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out. The best chance for seeing one will be through the evening. Any showers and thunderstorms will end late tonight as a cold front moves through Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by early Monday morning.
Much of the work week will be dry, with temperatures at or below normal. Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, cooler, and less humid with highs in the middle to upper 60s. Tuesday will be partly sunny and quite cool with highs in the middle to upper 50s. Wednesday will be variably cloudy as a system moves just south of Wisconsin. Highs will be in the upper 50s midweek. Thursday will be pleasant with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 60s. Sunshine will stick around Friday with high temperatures near 70.
The Memorial Day weekend will start out dry, but there are chances for storms Sunday and Monday. Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the lower 70s. As a storm system arrives Saturday night into Sunday and Memorial Day Monday, shower and thunderstorm chances will return along with mostly cloudy skies.

NOTES:
There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms through this evening across much of Wisconsin. A low pressure system is located in northwestern Minnesota, with a cold front to the southwest. Warm and humid air is in place across Wisconsin, but there is also warm air aloft, limiting instability. Even though the severe weather threat has been lowered there is still a chance for isolated strong or severe storms into the evening hours. The severe weather threat will end late tonight as the cold front pushes through Wisconsin.
