A cold front moving out of the northwest will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin tonight. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by early Monday morning. A few storms could be strong, mainly well north and northwest of Madison. Monday will be variably cloudy and not as mild with a chance for showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning. Highs will reach the lower 70s. The cold front will be just south of Wisconsin on Monday night with more showers and thunderstorms developing.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue Tuesday with the front remaining close to Wisconsin. Highs will only reach the lower 60s on Tuesday.
A low pressure system will begin to develop to our west on Wednesday, which will bring the front back to the north as a warm front. This will bring variably cloudy skies and chances for showers and thunderstorms to the area on Wednesday and Thursday with high temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80.
The low pressure system will move into Wisconsin on Thursday night with showers and thunderstorms becoming likely. Friday will be mostly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs in the upper 70s.
Another low pressure system will follow quickly on the heels of the previous one for the weekend. This will lead to shower and thunderstorm chances for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be cooler, reaching the 70 on Saturday and the upper 60s on Sunday.
