NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms on Thursday and Thursday night for the southeastern two-thirds of Iowa, extreme northwestern Illinois, and far southwestern Wisconsin (south and west of a La Crosse to Tomah to Monroe line). Windy, warm, and increasingly humid air will move across the central Midwest on Thursday. As a cold front moves into Iowa and Minnesota during the afternoon, thunderstorms may begin to develop in Iowa and Minnesota, reaching Wisconsin and northwestern Illinois late in the afternoon or in the evening. Strong wind fields indicate that isolated thunderstorms may become severe, with high winds and hail being the main threats. The severe weather threat should end overnight as the atmosphere cools and stabilizes.
