Today, a stationary front to our south will begin moving northward as a warm front. Skies will be mostly cloudy, and it will be breezy and cooler with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures will top out around 60 degrees. As the warm front passes through southern Wisconsin tonight, the threat for showers and thunderstorms will end, but areas of fog may form overnight.
On Wednesday, the warm front will move north of the area. Skies will become partly sunny, and it will be breezy and milder. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s.
Thursday will be partly sunny, windy, and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. There is just a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm.
A low pressure system will move through the northern Midwest on Friday. Cloud cover will increase ahead of an approaching cold front with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
Any lingering showers and thunderstorms will come to an end on Saturday morning as the cold front moves to the south of Wisconsin. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and a bit cooler with high temperatures in the lower 70s. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop on Saturday night. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for showers and thunderstorms with high temperatures near 70 degrees.
An area of low pressure will move through the Midwest on Monday with mostly cloudy skies, and mild and humid conditions with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will in the lower to middle 70s.
