NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms today and tonight for southeastern Minnesota, most of Iowa, and southwestern Wisconsin (north and west of a Prairie du Chien to Rhinelander line). Windy, warm, and increasingly humid air will move across the central Midwest today. As a cold front moves into Iowa and Minnesota during the afternoon, thunderstorms may begin to develop in Iowa and Minnesota, reaching Wisconsin and northwestern Illinois late in the afternoon or in the evening. Strong wind fields indicate that isolated thunderstorms may become severe, with high winds and hail being the main threats. The severe weather threat should end overnight as the atmosphere cools and stabilizes.
