Today will be mostly cloudy and very mild with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon as a cold front moves through southern Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will end Saturday morning as the cold front sinks into Illinois.
Behind the front, temperatures won't be as mild on Saturday with variably cloudy skies and high temperatures in the lower 70s. On Sunday, the cold front will start returning northward as a warm front as another low pressure system develops to our west. It will be mostly cloudy and become breezy with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s.
Low pressure will move through Wisconsin on Monday, with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will remain near 70 degrees.
Behind the low pressure system, Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with scattered showers ending. High temperatures will be near 60 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures returning to the middle 60s.
Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day or overnight and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Any showers will end Friday, then skies will become partly sunny with highs back near 70.

NOTES:
There is a threat for severe thunderstorms on Monday for eastern Iowa, all of Illinois, and southern Wisconsin (south of a La Crosse to Manitowoc line). A low pressure system will lift a warm front northward into southern Wisconsin on Monday morning, and will drag a cold front eastward across Wisconsin and Illinois by early Monday afternoon. A few severe thunderstorms may be possible, with high winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes possible. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front Monday afternoon and early evening.
