Skies will become partly sunny this afternoon, but it will remain chilly with highs only reaching the middle 50s. Patchy frost is likely tonight as temperatures fall back into the middle 30s, especially north of Madison. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and still chilly as a weather system moves just south of Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees. There will be a chance for showers south of Dane county.
Thursday will be milder with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the lower 70s.
The Memorial Day weekend will start out dry, but showers and thunderstorms are likely on Sunday and Memorial Day Monday. Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with a slight chance of isolated showers and high temperatures in the lower to middle 70s. As a storm system arrives from Saturday night into Sunday and Memorial Day Monday, shower and thunderstorm chances will return along with mostly cloudy skies. Highs will reach the lower 70s Sunday and the middle 70s Memorial Day Monday.
Slight shower chances will remain on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will be warm with highs in the upper 70s to around 80.
