This afternoon will be mostly cloudy and warm with showers and thunderstorms moving into the area, mainly south and east of Madison. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end overnight as lows drop into the lower 50s.
Behind the front, temperatures won't be as mild on Saturday with variably cloudy skies and high temperatures in the lower 70s. The front will then begin to move north again as a warm front by Saturday night, leading to showers and thunderstorms developing by Sunday morning. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will then continue on Sunday with highs near 70 and breezy conditions. There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather during that period as well.
Low pressure will move through Wisconsin on Monday, with mostly cloudy skies, breezy conditions and scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will remain near 70 degrees.
Behind the low pressure system, Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and cooler with scattered showers ending and some clearing possible late in the day. High temperatures will be near 60 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures returning to the lower to middle 60s.
Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day or overnight and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Friday and Saturday will be partly sunny and mild with highs near 70 Friday and into the mid 70s Saturday.

NOTES:
There is a MARGINAL RISK of severe weather across southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois and a SLIGHT RISK of severe weather for eastern Iowa for Sunday and Sunday night. As a low pressure system moves into the Midwest from the southwest, a warm front will move into the Wisconsin/Illinois border area, leading to a chance of severe weather, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. A trailing cold front will keep chances going overnight as well.
