Saturday will be variably cloudy, warmer, and more humid. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 80s. A cold front will move through on Saturday night bringing an end to the showers and thunderstorms.
Behind the front, skies will be partly sunny for Sunday and it will become a bit less humid. High temperatures will remain warm, topping out in the lower 80s.
The weather for next week looks somewhat unsettled, as there will be several chances for showers and thunderstorms.
Monday will be variably cloudy, warm and humid with a chance for showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be in the middle 80s. Tuesday should stay dry, with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the lower 80s. However, as a warm front to the south drifts northward, a chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop on Tuesday night, and continue from Wednesday into early Thursday. Skies will be variably cloudy and highs will be in the lower to middle 80s. Friday will be partly sunny and warm, but less humid with high temperatures near 80 degrees.
Another chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop on Saturday as skies become mostly cloudy with high temperatures remaining near 80 degrees. Sunday will be variably cloudy, breezy and cooler with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms and high temperatures in the middle 70s.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is an ENHANCED RISK for severe thunderstorms on Saturday and Saturday night for the southeastern third of Iowa, and northwestern Illinois. There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms for the rest of the southeastern two-thirds of Iowa, the rest of the northern third of Illinois, and the southwestern third of Wisconsin (south of a La Crosse to Beaver Dam to Milwaukee line). There is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms across southeastern Minnesota, much of the rest of Iowa, much of the rest of northern Illinois, and the rest of the southern half of Wisconsin. Warm and increasingly humid air will be over the central Midwest on Saturday. A cold front will move from Minnesota Saturday afternoon into Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois Saturday night. Thunderstorms will form along the cold front, a few of which may become severe. Hail and high winds are the main threats, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, especially as severe thunderstorms develop in Iowa. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front Saturday night.
