It will be partly cloudy tonight with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. An isolated severe thunderstorm with hail, high winds, and heavy rain is possible through mid-evening, mainly north of Wisconsin Dells. Areas of fog may form overnight. Temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to around 60 degres by morning.
Tuesday will be partly sunny with a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
Mainly dry weather is expected for the middle of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures reaching the middle to upper 70s.
A weather disturbance will approach Wisconsin on Friday. Skies will be partly sunny with a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees.
The holiday weekend will be warm and dry. The Fourth of July Saturday will be partly sunny with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny with highs reaching the lower 80s.
Variably cloudy skies, along with scattered showers and thunderstorms will return Monday. It will be warm and more humid as well. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect until 8 PM for west-central Wisconsin, including the counties of MONROE, JUNEAU, ADAMS, and VERNON (this includes the La Crosse metropolitan area).
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms for tonight for southeastern Minnesota and northwestern and west-central Wisconsin. There is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms over most of the rest of Minnesota, the northern half of Iowa, and the rest of the northwestern half of Wisconsin north and west of an Eagle River to Stevens Point to Dubuque, IA line). Scattered thunderstorms have developed in an unstable air mass over Minnesota and Wisconsin. A few thunderstorms may become severe with hail and high winds being the main threats. The severe weather threat should end this evening as the atmosphere cools near the time of sunset.
