Today will be mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing as low pressure builds in from the west. Some of these may be severe in the afternoon with high winds and hail being the main threats. High temperatures will reach the middle 70s. The area of low pressure will track across Wisconsin tonight and early Friday with breezy winds and numerous showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is possible, especially north of Madison. Temperatures will be cooler on Friday after the rain moves through with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
The weekend will begin dry with partly sunny skies on Saturday and highs in the middle 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will return on Sunday with highs near 80. Monday and Tuesday will be warm and humid with chances for showers and thunderstorms developing. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Wednesday will be partly sunny, warm, and a little less humid with highs in the middle 80s.
