This afternoon will be cloudy, breezy and cooler with scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few of these may be severe with high winds and hail being the main threats. High temperatures will only reach the lower 70s. The area of low pressure will track across Wisconsin tonight with breezy winds and numerous showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is possible, especially north of Madison and lows will be in the lower 60s.
On Friday, any showers will end early, then it will be mostly cloudy with some clearing possible late in the day and highs in the lower 70s.
The weekend will begin dry with partly sunny skies on Saturday and highs in the middle 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will return on Sunday with more humidity and highs near 80.
Monday will be warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms early and highs in the mid 80s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, warm and less humid with highs near 80 as high pressure briefly swings through.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and warm with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing later in the day as a fast moving system passes through. Highs will be in the lower 80s. We will be dry again Thursday, but warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s. Friday looks very warm and humid with another chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the upper 80s.
