Partly sunny and hazy skies are expected this afternoon as smoke drifts across the region from Canadian forest fires. It will be the warmest day of the year so far. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s with a bit more humidity. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop tonight, before coming to an end early Wednesday. The remainder of Wednesday will be partly sunny and warm with highs in the middle 80s.
Thursday will be increasingly cloudy and warm with high temperatures near 80 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon as low pressure builds in from the west. The area of low pressure will track across Wisconsin on Friday with breezy winds and numerous showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower to middle 70s on Friday.
Rain chances, along with warm and humid conditions, will continue through the weekend. Skies will be variably cloudy with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. Highs will reach the middle 70s on Saturday and the lower 80s on Sunday. It will remain warm and humid on Monday with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms.
