Skies will be partly cloudy this evening, with any showers south and east of Madison ending; temperatures should fall to around 70 degrees by late evening. Overnight, skies will become mostly clear and it will turn cooler. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s by morning.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
Humidity will begin to increase on Thursday, and it will be partly sunny and very warm with high temperatures in the middle 80s. Heat index values will be near 90 degrees. Friday will be partly sunny, very warm, and humid as well with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values will range from 90 to 95 degrees.
As a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin from Friday night into Saturday, there will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Saturday will be a variably cloudy, very warm, and humid day with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values will be from 92 to 97 degrees. After the passage of a cold front, Sunday will be partly sunny and very warm, but turn less humid with high temperatures in the middle 80s. Heat index values will reach the upper 80s.
Next week will start out on the warm side. Monday will be very warm and humid with partly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s with heat index values into the lower 90s.
