High pressure will continue to influence our weather tonight. Skies will be partly cloudy, and it will be pleasantly mild. Temperatures will fall to around 70 degrees by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 60s by morning.
Thursday will be partly sunny, very warm, and a little more humid. High temperatures will climb to the middle to upper 80s, with afternoon heat index values near 90 degrees Friday will be partly sunny, very warm to hot, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. Heat index values will range from 90 to 95 degrees.
A low pressure system will approach Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms developing. Saturday will be variably cloudy, very warm, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values will range from 92 to 97 degrees. After the passage of the cold front, temperatures will remain very warm, but it will briefly turn less humid Sunday. Highs on Sunday will reach the middle 80s with heat index values in the middle 80s to near 90. Skies will be partly sunny.
Next week will remain very warm. Monday will be humid with partly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s to near 90 degrees with heat index values into the lower 90s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy, very warm, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s and heat index values in the lower to middle 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday as a cold front makes its way across the state.
Behind the cold front, Wednesday will be very warm, but a little less humid. Skies will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 80s and heat index values ranging from the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
