The weather will remain quiet tonight with partly cloudy skies across southern Wisconsin. It will be muggy with temperatures falling into the upper 60s by early Monday morning.
A storm system will move through the Midwest on Monday. A cold front will reach Wisconsin on Monday afternoon, and pass through the state Monday night. Skies on Monday will be increasingly cloudy, and it will be breezy, very warm, and humid. A few showers and thunderstorms may develop later in the morning, but the main push of rain and storms will arrive in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be strong or severe with the main threat from high winds. High temperatures will reach the middle 80s. Heat index values will be as warm as the middle 80s to the lower 90s.
Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end late Monday night as the cold front moves east. Tuesday will be partly sunny, cooler, and less humid with high temperatures in the middle 70s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 70s.
Thursday will be partly sunny and milder with a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm, mainly late in the day. Highs will reach the upper 70s. Friday will be partly sunny, warm, and more humid with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower 80s.
Saturday and Sunday will be variably cloudy, very warm, and humid with chances for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s, and heat index values will be near 90 degrees.
