A wave of low pressure moving through Illinois and Indiana will continue to spill some clouds across southern Wisconsin this evening. Skies will be variably cloudy tonight with temperatures falling into the lower 50s by early Thursday. High pressure will build across Wisconsin on Thursday with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
High pressure will continue to move to the east on Friday, causing winds to shift out of the south. Southerly winds and some sunshine will allow temperatures to warm into the lower 80s on Friday. Friday night will become mostly cloudy as a warm front builds in from the southwest. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible by early Saturday morning.
The warm front will continue to move to the north on Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms and humid conditions. Highs will top out in the lower 80s. The warm front will be to our north on Sunday, but there will be a continued chance for some showers and thunderstorms. Sunday will be a warm and humid day with highs reaching the middle 80s.
As the front sags south on Monday, there will be another chance for showers and thunderstorms. Monday will remain warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s.
High pressure will return to the region Tuesday and Wednesday with warm conditions, but less humidity. Skies will be partly sunny each day with highs in the middle 80s.
