Today will be mostly cloudy, and it will become breezy with showers and scattered thunderstorms developing. High temperatures will be in the middle 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening, but diminish overnight. Patchy fog is possible toward daybreak with temperatures falling to the upper 60s.
As a warm front moves northward tonight into early Friday morning, rain chances will go down, and temperatures and humidity will go up. Friday will be partly sunny, hot, and humid with just a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 90 degrees, with heat index readings in the lower to middle 90s. Saturday will also be partly sunny, hot, and humid with a chance for showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be in the lower 90s, with heat index values in the upper 90s to lower 100s. On Sunday, a low pressure system and weak cold front will move into Wisconsin. Skies will be variably cloudy, and it will be very warm, and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s, with heat indices in the lower to middle 90s.
The weak cold front will then sink to the south for Monday, which will bring an end to any showers and thunderstorms early in the day. It will then become very warm and a bit less humid with high temperatures in the middle 80s and heat indices in the upper 80s. Tuesday will be partly sunny and very warm with high temperatures in the middle 80s and heat index values near 90 degrees.
Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy, hot and more humid with high temperatures near 90 degrees and heat indices in the middle 90s.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms today and tonight for much of Iowa and Illinois, and far southern Wisconsin (south of line from Prairie du Chien to Waukesha to Kenosha). A warm front will be lifting northeastward from Iowa and Missouri this morning into southern Wisconsin to night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely along and ahead of the front. Drier air across Wisconsin and cool temperatures because of widespread cloud cover north of the front will limit atmospheric instability. Isolated severe thunderstorms may be possible, with hail and high winds the main threats. An isolated tornado may be possible in a storm near the warm front in the late afternoon or evening. The severe weather threat will end as the warm front lifts into Michigan later tonight.
