Skies will become mostly cloudy today, but it will be breezy, warm, and humid. Showers and thunderstorms will develop, especially this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong, with gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees by noon; high temperatures will reach the lower to middle 80s this afternoon.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly this evening. Areas of fog may form overnight. Temperatures will fall to the lower 70s by late evening; as the cold front passes, overnight low temperatures will fall to the lower 60s by morning.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, cooler, and less humid with high temperatures in the lower to middle 70s. Wednesday will be parstly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 70s.
Warm weather will return later in the week. Thursday will be partly sunny with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Friday will be partly sunny and warm with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 80s.
A warm front will move through southern Wisconsin on Friday night, bringing a threat for some showers and thunderstorms. As it moves north on Saturday, skies will become partly sunny, , and it will turn very warm, and more humid with high temperatures in the the middle to upper 80s, and heat index values near 90 degrees. Sunday will be variably cloudy, very warm, and humid with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s, with heat index readings again near 90 degrees.
Monday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely as a storm system moves through Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms today and tonight for the southeastern half of Iowa, northwestern Illinois, and southwestern Wisconsin (south and west of a line from Prairie du Chien to Beaver Dam to Lake Geneva). There is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms across southeastern Minnesota, the rest of the southeastern two-thirds of Iowa, the rest of Illinois, and much of the rest of Wisconsin (except for the far northwestern corner).
A very warm and humid air mass over the Upper Midwest will be quite unstable by the afternoon. A cold front will move from central Minnesota and northwestern Iowa to southern Wisconsin and northwestern Illinois by late evening, and into Indiana by Tuesday morning. Thunderstorms this morning over southern Minnesota and western Iowa will weaken, and clouds from these storms may inhibit stronger thunderstorms development over much of Wisconsin this afternoon. More thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the cold front by afternoon, and a few of them may become severe. High winds, hail, and heavy rain are the main threats, although an isolated tornado may be possible, especially where the thunderstorms first develop over south western Wisconsin into eastern Iowa. The severe weather threat will lessen somewhat after dark with the loss of daytime heat, and will end with the passage of the cold front Monday night.
