Skies will be mostly clear overnight. It will become quite cool, with low temperatures falling to the upper 40s by morning, just above the record low of 43 set in 1972.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 70s. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant as well with high temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
Warm weather will return from Friday into the weekend. Friday will be partly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. A chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Friday night as a warm front pushes through southern Wisconsin. As the warm front continues to head north on Saturday morning, showers and thunderstorms will end early in the day. Skies will become partly sunny, and it will be very warm and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values may reach the lower 90s. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Saturday night. The warm front will be to our north on Sunday, but there is a slight chance some showers and thunderstorms may clip southern Wisconsin. Sunday will be partly sunny, very warm, and humid as well with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values will make it feel as hot as 90 to 95 degrees.
A storm system and cold front will move through Wisconsin on Monday with variably cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms. Monday will once again be very warm and humid with high temperatures in the middle 80s.
On Tuesday, skies will be partly sunny and it will remain warm, but turn less humid. High temperatures will remain in the middle 80s.
