High pressure will take over our weather today, leading to partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows dropping into the upper 50s.
High pressure will continue to move to the east on Friday, causing winds to shift out of the south. Southerly winds and some sunshine will allow temperatures to warm into the lower 80s. Friday night will become mostly cloudy as a warm front builds in from the southwest. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible by early Saturday morning.
The warm front will continue to move to the north on Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms and humid conditions. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 80s. The warm front will be to our north on Sunday, but there will be a chance of a few isolated thundershowers. Sunday will be a warm and humid day with highs reaching the upper 80s.
Monday will be nearly a carbon copy of Sunday with warm and humid conditions and a slight chance of isolated thundershowers. Highs will remain in the upper 80s.
Very little will change the rest of the week as a warm and humid airmass remains in place over the Midwest. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s and there will be chances of isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly on Tuesday and Thursday.
