This afternoon will be mostly sunny and pleasant, with lower humidity. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Temperatures will fall to the upper 50s overnight with clouds increasing and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms toward morning, mainly in far western Wisconsin.
On Thursday, another low pressure system will move through the area leading to mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will become breezy and humid with high temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
As a warm front moves northward from Thursday night into early Friday morning, rain chances will go down, and temperatures and humidity will go up. Friday will be partly sunny, hot, and humid with just a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s, with heat index readings in the lower to middle 90s. Saturday will be partly sunny, hot, and humid with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms again; high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s, with heat index values in the upper 90s to lower 100s. Sunday will be variably cloudy, very warm, and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms a little more likely as the warm front sinks to the south. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s, with heat indices in the lower to middle 90s.
The warm front will then sink to the south for Monday, which will end any showers and thunderstorms early, and it will be slightly cooler and less humid with highs in the mid 80s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s and heat index values near 90.
Wednesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy, warm and humid with chances of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the mid 80s.
