This afternoon will be mostly sunny, very warm, and a little more humid. High temperatures will climb to the middle 80s, with afternoon heat index values near 90 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly clear and milder. Temperatures will fall to the lower 70s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by morning.

Friday will be partly sunny, very warm, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. Heat index values will range from 90 to 95 degrees.

A low pressure system will move north of Wisconsin on Friday night, dragging a weak cold front across the state by early Saturday morning, There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms from later Friday night into early Saturday morning. Behind the cold front, Saturday will be partly sunny, and still very warm, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values will range from 92 to 97 degrees.  It will still be partly sunny, very warm, and humid on Sunday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms.  High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 80s with heat index values near 90 degrees.

Next week will remain very warm. Monday will be humid with partly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s to near 90 degrees with heat index values into the lower 90s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy, very warm, and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s and heat index values in the lower to middle 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday as a cold front makes its way across the state.

Behind the cold front, Wednesday will be very warm, but a little less humid. Any showers and thunderstorms will end early before skies become partly sunny with high temperatures in the middle 80s and heat index values reaching the upper 80s.

Thursday will partly sunny and very warm, but even a little less humid with high temperatures in the middle to upper 80s. Friday will be partly sunny, very warm, and more humid as breezy southerly winds bring high temperatures into the upper 80s, and heat index readings into the lower 90s. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms late in the day as a cold front approaches from the west.
