This afternoon will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 70s. It will be partly cloudy and cool again tonight with lows in the lower 50s. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant as well with high temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
Warm weather will return from Friday into the weekend. Friday will be partly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. A chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Friday night as a warm front pushes through southern Wisconsin. As the warm front continues to head north on Saturday morning, showers and thunderstorms will continue, mainly early in the day. Skies will become partly sunny, and it will be very warm and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Heat index values may reach the lower 90s. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Saturday night. The warm front will be to our north on Sunday, but there is a slight chance some showers and thunderstorms may clip southern Wisconsin. Sunday will be partly sunny, hot, and humid as well with high temperatures near 90. Heat index values will make it feel like the mid to upper 90s.
As the front to the north sags slightly south again on Monday, there will be another chance of showers and thunderstorms, but it will remain warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Tuesday will be warm and humid with only a slight chance of an isolated shower or two and highs in the mid 80s.
The warm, humid air will continue through midweek as well with partly sunny skies and highs near 90 on Wednesday. Another storm system will develop later Thursday, but it will remain very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s.
