A cold front departing to the east has brought some cooler conditions to southern Wisconsin. The clouds associated with that colder air will continue to diminish this evening. Skies will become mostly clear tonight with temperatures falling to the lower 50s by early Monday morning.

Monday will begin mostly sunny, but clouds will gradually increase due to cold air lingering aloft. It will be a breezy and cool day with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Cool air will remain in place Tuesday with partly sunny skies and highs near 70 degrees.

High pressure will build across the region Wednesday and Thursday with mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach the lower 70s Wednesday and the middle 70s Thursday.

On Friday, a weak wave may move into Wisconsin. It will be partly sunny and warm with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be near 80 degrees.

Any showers and thunderstorms will come to an end Saturday morning. High pressure should return for the rest of the weekend with partly sunny skies and mild temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 70s Saturday, and will be near 80 degrees on Sunday.
