Next week will be hot, humid and most likely, rain free. Monday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s and heat index values in the lower 90s. The rest of the week we will sit under a ridge of high pressure and see virtually the same conditions every day. It will be partly sunny with high temperatures near 90 degrees, while heat index values continue in the middle to upper 90s every day from Tuesday through Friday.
The Labor Day weekend will start out the same, but a front coming through later Sunday will cool things down for the holiday itself. Saturday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with highs near 90 and heat index values in the mid 90s. Sunday will remain very warm and humid, but a chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day and continue overnight. Highs will be in the upper 80s with heat index values near 90. On Labor Day, any showers and thunderstorms will end early with clearing skies and cooler and less humid conditions. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
